Inuyasha, Kagome and Shippo encounter a young monk named Miroku who, for reasons of his own, also seeks the sacred jewel. When the shards Kagome carries are stolen, Inuyasha must act to retrieve them from Miroku... but this thieving monk has more mystical ability than anyone expected! Later, at a village where paintings of demons are coming to life to terrorize the people, the only conclusion is that there must be a sacred jewel shard involved. Finally, when Naraku and Sesshomaru join forces, their unholy alliance may be more than Inuyasha and his friends can handle....
